Kawachi Fuji Garden

Hii, long time no see since my blog have been hacked

Kawachi Fuji-en

Now I'll tell you all about one of the most wanted place that I want to visit. I actually have some, but now I'll only tell you one of them. This is an amazing plaacee

One of the most wanted place that I want to visit is Kawachi fuji garden. It is home to incredible 150 wisteria plants spanning 20 different species. The garden’s main attraction is the Wisteria tunnel that allows visitors to walk down an enchanting tunnel exploding with colour.

Kawachi fuji garden about 6 hours from Tokyo Japan. To get to the garden from JR Yahata station, we take Nishitetsu bus #56 and get off at Kawachi Elementary School. Then walk 10-15 minute to the garden. The GPS coordinates: 33°49’54.62″N 130°47’33.42″E. The best time to visit  is from late April to mid May, typically peaking at the end of April. The garden is private so there is an entry fee. The greater the bloom, the entry fee is more expensive.

Wisteria is a genus of flowering plants in the pea family, Fabaceae, that includes ten species of woody climbing vines native to the Eastern United States and to China, Korea, and Japan. Wisteria vines climb by twining their stems either clockwise or counterclockwise round any available support. They can climb as high as 20 m above the ground and spread out 10 m laterally. The world’s largest known Wisteria vine is in Sierra Madre, California, measuring more than 1 acre (0.40 ha) in size and weighing 250 tons, planted in 1894 of the Chinese lavender variety.

The leaves are alternate, 15 to 35 cm long, pinnate, with 9 to 19 leaflets. The flowers are produced in pendulous racemes 10 to 80 cm long and are purple, violet, pink or white. Flowering is in the spring (just before or as the leaves open) in some Asian species, and in mid to late summer in the American species and W. japonica. The flowers of some species are fragrant, most notably Chinese Wisteria.

I hope one day I can visit this place. Have you ever visit this place?

Megantara

Megantara
SMAN 3 Bandung held a cultural festival every year. This year, the cultural festival was named "Megantara", with archipelago as the theme. Megantara held on Saturday, September 10, 2016.

Megantara's Poster
Megantara 2016 presented a variety of cultures such as Sundanese gamelan, rampak kendang, fashion show, wayang golek, and standard game from five major islands in Indonesia. To make this cultural festival did not seem boring, the committee invited RAN and The Changcuters as the guest stars. They also invited Karawitan SMK 10 Bandung, Rampak Kendang Darul Hikam, SMEs Bali Telkom, Community Jaipong kotemporer, Barudak studio Prihamdani, Orchestra Semi Dangdut ITB and Extracurricular SMAN 3 such as Lingkung Seni Sunda 3, KPA 3, Vocal Group 3, Classical Music 3, Tiloes Theatre, Band 3, and so on. This event aims to preserve the culture of Indonesia and invite young people today so as not ashamed to show their Indonesiaan. Megantara 2016 was attended by the Mayor of Bandung Mr. Ridwan Kamil. He was very enthusiastic about Indonesian culture.

Finally, the long-awaited day arrived. Saturday, September 10, 2016 all of the tenth grade students went to the Bali field at 7am use Sundanese traditional clothing, namely kebaya and pangsi. Some kids from pre-schools in Bandung also joined the parade. we and all parade participants started the parade from the bali field around 8 am. We walked around until the Bandung town hall, and back again to the bali field. The parade finished about 10 am.

Parade
After the parade, I and my friend returned to SMAN 3 to change clothes and waited for the gate opened. The committee said that the gate would be opened around  11.30 am. We entered the Bali field after the gate was opened. We can exchanged the ticket with fruit tea…yeayyy…Inside the field, the event was not started yet, so we just went around and sigh seeing. The weather on that day was hot enough. We saw an ice cream stand and we bought it immediately. That ice cream was soo delicious but the price was more expensive than usual.

Soon after that, the event began. in fact I did not really pay attention to the opening ceremony. I just kept going around, chatted with friends, also spent money for snacks. On the late afternoon, the show more attracted and field full of visitors. I also met some of my old friends.

When maghrib time, I and my friend decided to pray first, but the little mosque was full. Unfortunately, that time was time for T'ST (Theatre SMAN 3 Bandung)  to perform and we felt pity to miss it. After we prayed, we immediately headed towards the stage and tried to find a place as forward as possible. Fortunately T'ST still performed and we could watch their performance even if only briefly.

At 7.00 pm, my mother called me and asked me what time I would go home. I didn’t have much time to answer my mother questions because my cell phone run out of battery. I borrowed my friend’s phone to communicate with my mom. My mom said that my father was on the way to pick me up for going home. I felt disappointed because I had to go home and I missed the peak event. The special guests on this event are The Changcuters and RAN, and I missed their performance. My friends told me that their performances looked incredible. I also missed its closure that so festive. I hope next year I can attend this kind of event until finish.
